Nina Romanin

Actress and screenwriter born in the land of mate and tango, with Italian and Uruguayan roots. A keen observer of the world around me, I always knew my path involved telling stories: writing them, inhabiting them, and sharing them with that perfect blend of the real, the raw, and the poetic. I've worked on award-winning short films and international feature films. I continue to choose characters with heart, conflict, and humanity, navigating diverse genres but always with the same compass: emotional truth and compelling narrative. As a screenwriter, I'm obsessed with connections, fissures, and what goes unspoken. I strive for each story to have substance, memory, and emotion. If any of that resonates with the viewer, then the journey has been worthwhile. I currently live in Barcelona, where I write, act, and collaborate on projects, with my sights set on working in different parts of the world.
